The Norwegian phenomenon completed his treble in the 26th minute, nodding in a Kevin De Bruyne cross. Haaland then made it 4-0 just after the hour mark, tapping in from close range after a brilliant run and cross from Phil Foden. The 22-year-old completed his hat-trick in the 87th minute, slotting home a penalty after Foden had been fouled in the area.
Forest had their fair share of chances to blow the title race wide open but it was Manchester City who took their chances and moved five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

The first goal came after just 12 minutes, with Foden finishing off a flowing move involving Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland. The second goal was even better, with Haaland providing the assist for Foden to score from close range.
